Use Databases in your Website

Companies and individuals sometimes need to use databases to update content such as a directory or appointments list. This is different from Web Feeds in that the database entries are sorted in whatever way you like dynamically.

For example, a real estate company might use a database (excel document or some such) to record a list of properties when they are available to rent. They upload the file to the server and some clever scripting displays, in a calender view, times when it is possible for customers to book online.

Likewise, it may be that an individual would like to create a database of their favourite movie stars, with forms containing names, age, descriptions etc. This database could then be uploaded to their server and displayed on their website over many pages.
